Red Hook Tavern

I recently had the opportunity to enjoy The Burger at red hook tavern and it was a great night. We took the ferry to red hook, had a drink at Sunny's, and then were seated at the restaurant. They have an amazing wine list and the servers were pleasant and friendly, if not a little slammed (Friday night at a very popular restaurant I can't blame them!)

As far as The Burger, I went in expecting something that would taste very dressed up, but I really appreciate that it is literally just onions, patty, cheese, bun. The bun itself is very flavorful without being overwhelming or over-seasoned. This is the epitome of a no-frills burger— it invites you to try (and fail) to replicate it at home.

Take the ferry back too if you can. It's a beautiful view!
